Ferdie's Very Bad Day

On rounds last night, Ferdie found a small, gleaming bottle of golden potion. He did what any reasonable, responsible student authority figure would do, and confiscated it. And pocketed it. And turned it around a few times in his hands. And reminded himself how much ridiculous stuff he'd had to deal with lately. And classes are done, so doesn't he deserve one really lucky day? He's learned that drinking random potions is not that scary. Be brave, Ferdie!

Early Saturday morning, Ferdie drank the potion. And that's when things started going weird.

First of all, he can't find his badge. He's late for breakfast so he doesn't know that Newt is, today, temporary head boy.

At breakfast, Ferdie's toast goes butter side down. It was the last piece, and the only other food is some gross sugar cereal again? This is a recurring theme at mealtimes, during which Ferdie's least favorite foods (hot dogs and mushrooms) seem to feature heavily for some reason.

Sometime this morning, some freshmen stick a KICK ME! sign to Ferdie's favorite shirt with a permanent sticking charm. He won't realize that for way too long.

Over the day, Ferdie progressively loses his voice. He isn't sick, really, it's just annoying? He can't even tell Coppertale Quidditch to DEFINITELY STOP flying brooms in the grotto and they continue, despite his hand-gestured point taking.

That's also how London Holloway somehow ropes him into taking pictures for the pin-up calendar. He doesn't want this!

And don't get him started on how Muddy Twister is gonna go

Later in the day, having finally retrieved his badge, he decides to go to the sauna. Spencer and Ira are already there and they...really don't want to share, but Ferdie can't unsee what he's seen. (You don't have to be gross in the sauna to take this, I promise, maybe Character B just likes to try to eat ice cream in there.)

Defeated, Ferdie tries to take a walk instead. That's safe, right? But he slips, falls, and has to walk back to Ribbonfin, covered with March mud head to toe. Reece thinks he's a new kind of woods cryptid and sounds the alarm so he can't even slink back in peace. That's what you get for drinking Woods Potions, Ferdinand.

HOW THIS WORKS

IF you want to make Ferdie's Bad Day worse, PLEASE feel free to either volunteer for a spot or chime in! I AM VERY OPEN to making this day worse!!

But of course please keep this lighthearted and don't actually kill him I guess.

I am absolutely stealing a scene with him here or at Muddy Twister. I need to figure out how Ursula can possibly make his day worse than that.

Ferdie finds his name at the top of the tournament sign-up sheet and he doesn't know how it got there. (Okay, he probably does know.)

& Yes, absolutely. Everything Ferdie does today is an autofail RNG game.

jenny i kind of want to take Volunteer A and my idea is basically sy takes nisha (and whoever else on copperteam) to practice flying somewhere they totally shouldn't

i gotta reply nisha's post... i can't think of any good ideas tho :|a

ACTUALLY OK MY ONE TERRIBLE IDEA LMAO sy would want them to practice where ebonhide can't peep on them so maybe they should all just... head into the woods and practice in the grotto????

their rule violation is heading to the Grotto for some last-minute practice

So when Yancey inevitably gets elimianted in muddy twister can he come back to the cabin and get mud all over Ferdie's stuff
