ST. PATRICK'S DAY PITY PARTY

Oh my god. You are so hungover. Or maybe your friend is hungover. Either way, everyone knows Gooseberry goes hard on St. Patrick's Day, and this year was no exception. It's tradition for everyone to drag themselves out to Coppertale to try and recover and look for some pity.

WHAT'S GOING ON

• This is a simple IC/OOC for all your hurt/comfort hangover needs.


• This is very freeform! Use the elsewhere header if you want to do a scene... well, elsewhere.


• If you come to hassle the poor drunks you'll be asked to leave! Haven't they suffered enough?

» Coppertale: The fire pit has been lit, there's coffee, water, and a nice simple breakfast. Vector passes through once, and clucks her tongue at the sick children. She doesn't bother to speak quietly if engaged, but she doesn't comment on the evidence of a party as long as no one looks bad enough to see Mufferaw. She doesn't linger long.

» The Lodge: Addy Foster-Hayes is reportedly brewing a hangover cure. There's also food available in the cafeteria, and plenty of big cushy chairs in the atrium.

"Yeah yeah, it's easy to be the hypothetical king of the world when you're not competing." She waves her hand dismissively and sets down her coffee, because it's sure as fuck not helping her feel any better. "Also, you need to sit your ass down. I need a pillow."

Chris obediently takes a seat next to Rosy. "I like when you get bossy." He produces a bottle of water seemingly out of thin air. "Want some water first? Clear liquids help with hang overs better than caffeine."

Rosy wraps her arms around Chris' arm and drops her head onto his shoulder. "Mmm, in that case maybe I just need some vodka," she mutters into his shirt as she grabs the water anyway.

Chris snorts and strokes down her totally not brushed hair - didn't he give you an hour to brush this? "More alcohol technically helps with hang overs. You can never be hung over if you're never not drunk. That's a joke. If you become an alcoholic I'm gonna feel real bad about it."

She totally started to brush her hair, and then she had to go lie back down for 45 minutes because she felt like a pile of human garbage, and then she just decided it seemed fitting that she also look like human garbage so she just decided to accept it. Don't make her feel bad for accepting herself, Christopher. "Cool, cool," she shrugs, "your feelings don't count, so it sounds like there's no downsides."

No it's fine you look good Rosy. This is probably karma for telling him he looks like a pile of literal shit the last two times he was in the infirmary but whatever. Chris makes a noise that sounds like a snort but quieter. "But then you'd lose every competition so that's probably a downside. We'll all just slowly forget about you being a beast until there's nothing but whispers about it at camp sites." Chris starts to slowly comb his fingers through her hair, gently untangling it.
