A small, neat stack of gifts is left on the fireplace mantle for Ulysses, Cameron, Iliya, and Wilde to find! The gifts are wrapped in plain brown paper and some have names written on them; those that don't should be assumed to be for everyone. Don't fight, children. There is a (very brief) note form Casper:

Yes, I'm back. No, I didn't forget about you.

- A set of dorky shot glasses that Casper is ashamed that he bought. Take your favorite!
- A box of five Compartes x Reserva de la Familia Tequila Dark Chocolate Truffles.
- A bottle of Reserva de la Familia tequila.

ULYSSES WANTS THE BEAR WITH THE BARREL AND HE'S NOT AFRAID TO FIGHT Y'ALL FOR IT. Also, he immediately shoved his truffle into his mouth, and will be unsubtly eyeing yours as well.

The peanut butter bar (and the paper it was wrapped in) gets tucked into his desk drawer with uncharacteristic care. NOW HE'S BACK IN THE COMMON SPACE AND HE'S YELLING AGAIN. GUYS! CASPER'S BACK AND HE'S FUN NOW. SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS.

There's not a lot in this world which will make Iliya fight a person, but sweets are one of them. Step off, Ulysses. He'll take whatever dorky shot glass is left after the initial scuffle, but that truffle is his. He grabs a red one. Gryffindor pride.

Notably, Iliya sees there are five truffles and five of them, but Casper isn't a fan of sweets. Who will get the last one?

(Later, when the dust has settled and Iliya's feeling more sensible, he'll force Casper to endure his mercifully brief thanks. "It is very good." Iliya's deeply impressed by the whiskey dark chocolate bar, and doesn't eat it at all once.)

Ulysses will arm wrestle you guys for it. Note that he proposes this without asking Casper if he wants his own damn piece of chocolate. Also note that he's not particularly good at arm wrestling.

The extent of Iliya's athletic ability is when he a) takes a bow to his cello, or b) the rare times he's forced to go flying with his father. And granted, the latter is pretty involved, but it hasn't exactly developed his arm muscles for wrestling.

Still, Iliya stares at Ulysses through narrowed eyes, and says, "You're on." He doesn't bother to ask Casper either, or frankly anyone else in the cabin if they care this much about chocolate.

Cameron loves candy, but he's not about to fight for the last truffle. He's a lover, not a fighter. Still, he is here to speculate!

"Carney, you can adjudicate. Let's go." Okay, at this point, Ulysses is just looking for an excuse to arm wrestle.

"Sure, whatever that means," Cameron agrees cheerfully. He knows what it means, but big words aren't cool, Ulysses.

Everyone's got opinions on his vernacular. "Judge me!" he defines, oblivious to the irony.

"Just arm wrastle already, Jesus," Cameron says, rolling his eyes and gesturing for them to go on, "Or I swear I'll eat the truffle and save you both the trouble."

[iliya]

"Do not dare." Iliya holds an arm out in front of the truffle box in case Cameron tries. Which is probably futile because Cameron's reach is much longer than his, what with that height, but he is not letting the last piece go without a fight.

Iliya moves into position, arm up and at the ready. His shirt cuff slips down to show how narrow his wrist is. He's totally going to lose.

Wilde reverently accepts the bear with the weird movie equipment, because what the hell. He is still hungover from last night and retires into his bunk without chatting too much w anyone, but it's obvious he's happy with his gifts and with the boys and like weirdly at peace being back in this cabin. ;-;

Cameron takes his gift, blinks at it like there is some further explanation, reads the note again, then touches his chest like he's so touched he can barely handle it. It's a birthday cake bar, and it was just his birthday! And Cameron loves white chocolate! And it's so colorful and pretty! Are his eyes watering??

When he sees Casper, he looks like he might hug him, but instead just pats him on the back and thanks him excessively.
