You guys should probably avoid the clearing south of the garden this morning. Something's got the bees all worked up and I got stung a few times. I don't think they should be a problem for anyone else, since I was taking the hive apart and I don't expect anyone else will be doing that, but just to be safe. I haven't seen them act like that before. I'll talk to Mrs. O'Hare about it.

Yeah, I'm okay. It hurts, but I've got the stingers out and put some salve on my arm and my hand. The swelling's already going down a little.

I don't. I've never seen this before, here or at home, and it seems like it came out of nowhere. I hope they're okay.

I thought I was only noticing it more because it's the last year before we graduate, but I think you may be right. Gooseberry giving us a sendoff? So sad Ricardo is going to miss it, but I guess his graduation was not that exciting.

Not too long ago and they accepted her without any real difficulty. I don't think it's anything like that. I know those problems; the normal ones. And this species is typically very calm. Wizards bred them that way. I really don't get it.

I have to dismantle it, at least partially, to check that everything's going like it should. That they're building wax and storing nectar and raising broods. That there aren't any problems I can help with, like invasive insects or diseases. But it always gets put back together, Pippa. It just helps the hive function better.
