ANON POST PARTY

ANON POST PARTY
HOW THIS WORKS
- This is not an anti-anon post party. It's just a party taking place at the same time as the anonymous post.
- You don't need to surrender your journal to attend.
- It's taking place at Azurcrest.
- If you do want to surrender your journal, however, there's a trunk that Cecil Honeychurch, Ravinder Dhaliwal and Diego Morales have enchanted to only open for the three of them when they're all present. At the beginning of the party, you can give them your journals and they'll leave them locked up for the night. Diego says the only downside is that if one of the three of them dies, you'll never get your journal back. It's unclear if he's joking or not.
- The party starts at sunset, just as the anonymous writer is expected to appear. It'll go until the anon post dies down, around 1 or 2 AM.
- As this is taking place at a campground, if you plan on drinking or smoking, you need to be covert about it. There will be a Naughty Children section of the party where you can sneak off to drink. If you don't get shit faced and wander into the main party area, you'll be fine.
- Kissing games are self-serve. Post your character under the header, and reply to the people your character "randomly" kissed.
» BEFORE THE PARTY: Students are antsy, as Saturday has been a long day of nothing, which will be immediately followed by a lot of excitement. A party, the anon post, and tomorrow the game!
» OPTIONAL JOURNAL LOCKUP: If your character would like to avoid the temptation to look at the anonymous post, reply here letting us know they locked up their journal. There will be no consequences for doing so, except that if you do, you may not reply to the anonymous post with the character in question.
» AROUND THE FIRE: The fire pit has been lit, and there are plenty of benches and blankets around it to sit on. Roast marshmallows, hang out with your friends, listen to music, etc.
» KISSING GAMES: A handful of students gather around an empty beer bottle to partake in Spin the Bottle and Seven Minutes in Heaven. People puzzle for a little over what to use in lieu of a closet, and settle on a tiny clearing off the path, hidden by trees. It's a favorite outdoor makeout spot up at Azurcrest.
» THE CABINS: You can only enter a cabin by invitation.
» NAUGHTY CHILDREN: Some students are dissatisfied by the dry party, and slip off to a little spot behind the senior girls' cabin. It's very secluded, and gives an impressive view of the forest beyond the cliffs. Here you're free to indulge in illegal substances, as long as you're smart about it.
» TRUTH OR SHOT: A game of good old Truth or Shot breaks out in the secret party within a party. A bottle of whiskey is passed around to the people being asked questions, so really it's more "Truth or Swig".
» OOC - Questions, comments, concerns!
Diego & Ravi
Ravi reaches over with his free hand to touch one of Diego's bracelets, which sits right above the faint purple marks on his skin. "Not... really." He sounds distracted. "Does that still hurt?"
Diego & Ravi
"Ha. No." He smiles sheepishly. "It's a little sore, but nothing that's slowing me down. I just don't want... you know."
Diego & Ravi
At least the bruises really aren't noticeable at all. "It's fine. Truly. You could probably get a salve from Healer Mufferaw to clear those up in a few hours." Ravi tilts his head, studying Diego's decorated arm, and suddenly smirks. "Or... if you happen to enjoy having my marks on you, I could help you hide it a different way."
Diego & Ravi
"Is it weird if I do?" he asks, almost reluctantly. Ravi sounds like he's joking, but Diego's vaguely ashamed that the practical solution to this problem is unappealing. And the impractical solution is stressful. Diego's been creeping around in long sleeves to avoid the prying eyes of his roommates... who probably didn't care enough to notice in the first place. Levi and Chris used to punch one another as foreplay. This would probably be nothing to them. They'd probably laugh at him for thinking it was a big deal.
Diego & Ravi
It's too public for him to do what he wants to do. Which isn't much, in the grand scheme of things—half the school's turned PDA into a regular party game, so his sudden urge to put his head on his boyfriend's shoulder and kiss his neck must seem laughably vanilla. Everyone already knows they're dating, and no one cares.
Even so, Ravi holds himself back. He's probably lucky to have found someone who indulges his need for control the way Diego does.
"It's not weird," he repeats. Pause. "I like it." Ravi laughs, embarrassed by himself. "You know those leather cuff bracelets? Like this wide—" He holds his fingers several inches apart. "—and sometimes enclosed with small buckles? Those would stay in place and cover your wrists. I bet I could make a couple. I make leather bracers all the time for LARP."
Diego & Ravi
"That would help. I wouldn't have to worry, but I also wouldn't have to get rid of them." The more he talks about it, the more he likes the idea. He lets his imagination get about as far as picturing Ravi helping him buckle them on before he pulls himself back down to earth. "You're not too busy, though, are you?"
Diego & Ravi
"No no no no. I'm never too busy to do something for you. Anyway, working on costumes and accessories is oddly relaxing to me. I can let it take up my focus, distract me from all the things I worry too much about." He makes a slight face as he forces himself to think harder on Diego's question. "I do still have my senior project to finish. It almost makes me wish I'd joined a band."
Diego & Ravi
"Are you still stumped on the testing phase?"
