What would it take for the teachers here to consider shutting the school down, I wonder? I'm not sure even Hogwarts would've been able to endure all the scandal this school has, and it's not the safest of places.

Didn't Hogwarts stay open like, through several students being petrified, a death eater impersonating a teacher, Sirius Black breaking into the school etc etc etc and never closed down?

I mean, this is practically tame in comparison. Not that we shouldn't be worried, but I think "shutting the school down" would be a bit of an overreaction.
