It's more than we knew before. Even if my vision still doesn't make any sense and we still have no idea what's out there. I'm not convinced it's a coincidence that Ravi and Diego both got lost, though, so if we continue doing this we need to be more careful.

A tarot reading in the woods could help. I can try, at least. If one of you will go with me I'll go back during the day sometime this week and let you guys know if anything comes of it. I've also been reading about tephramancy, where you burn tree bark and read meaning in the ashes. Maybe something like that would be worth trying too if the bark comes from that forest. I don't know. I can ask Mr. Chettri for assistance or advice too, but I might have to tell him what's going on to do that. I don't think I can lie to him. And maybe we shouldn't be

You were useful! You might've replicated Ravi's results unless you really did zone out that badly. And, yeah, Cecil, you can say you heard it secondhand from us or you don't even have to mention that we were out after curfew. Fairly, we left before curfew and we totally meant to go back to our camps but we got lost in the spooky woods.

I wonder if maybe the Sad Spot is tied to Mr. E somehow? Or maybe it's produced when adults fail to reach the Grotto? Someone said Mr. C-B tried to be lead to the Grotto a few years ago and failed so I wonder if he ever encountered anything weird? Prospero said that Mr. E was having a hard time lately so I'm also wondering if maybe the Sad Spot is tied to emotions? Would it be a Happy Spot if we went in there happy? Maybe the Grotto has had a Happy Spot but we never realized because we were pumped for a party?

Maybe not though. The Sad Spot was an extreme. And that still doesn't explain getting lost on a familiar trail unless Ravi and Diego both have a shitty sense of direction.

I agree. Nobody should go out there alone, especially after dark. I won't either; Levi's willing to come with me so I can do some more divining. Though, given how my attempts have gone lately, I'm not optimistic that anything will come from it.

Do you think maybe different times of the day might produce different results? I wonder if there's a difference between morning, afternoon, night, and ~witching hour~? It seems like weird shit's been happening in the early mornings. The raven thing, the bee thing, the boat thing. I think the boat thing is a prank but I'm sort of hoping my precious spider monkey's suspicions are right because spooky.
