"Stuff's shitty." Xavier Lewis says with the confidence of someone commenting on the current weather, although it's entirely possible he's speaking more generally. Or perhaps he's waxing philosophic, but I doubt it. Anyway, he goes on, making small talk with anyone who'll approach the table he's set up in the lodge, "So, like, I figured, hey, you know what’s a cool thing to do? Make stuff less shitty! And voila, snow cones!" Now that you have an intimate knowledge of the inner workings of Xavier’s mind, you two are best friends. Congratulations, I guess.

If you're curious about where he got the shaved ice, he's more than happy to tell you. "The sky, of course." Apparently he collected a bunch of snow in containers last night and has been keeping it cold with freezing charms all day. He doesn't seem to think anything is gross about this at all. West Virginians. "No ground slush, here, my dudes. You won’t get a hint of dirt in these, uh, unless that’s the flavor you get."

What the hell does that mean? Well, Xavier’s modest table is covered in a ridiculous assortment of small bottles filled with colorful liquids. Apparently he acquired a bag of Bertie Bot’s Beans and decided to experiment with making flavor syrups out of them in Magical Rudiments...to mixed results. Has science gone to far? Yes, I promise you it has.

It's mid-May, it's cold and snowy, and even if the forest monsters don't drag you away to be their fairyland slave, you've still got finals ahead of you. So, step right up and get a FREE snow cone. Xavier says there's a 60 to 85% chance it will brighten your day and not make things more shitty.
