RULES

• Kissing Day is the day before the summer solstice! It's considered good luck to get kissed today, and bad luck and a year of loneliness if you don't get a kiss, or if the object of your affection refuses a kiss from you.


• The melodrama of what it means if you don't get the right kiss can vary, so feel free to have your characters be incredibly melodramatic or extremely exasperated over this superstition.


• Simply comment with your character's name and form below, and then respond to others who have posted their characters!


• Some students may be under the impression that more kissing = more luck. Will anything special happen if you collect the most kisses? (... probably not, but you'll sure feel loved.)

"Fine, I will kiss you and only you a hundred times, but not until tomo—ah!" Calvin yelps and scrambles to sit up as the blade of grass gets right in his ear. The textbook tumbles to his lap and he rubs at his head, but the sensation is deep in his skull where he can't get at it. In retribution, he tears up a handful of grass and tosses it harmlessly at Ree's head.

"You're terrible," he says, and clearly doesn't mean it even a little bit.

Cole blinks a this and brushes back some of his dark hair. "I don't mind," he says slowly, then shakes his head, "Can I kiss you back? Or are you 'over people putting their lips on your pretty face'?" That's got to be a bigger problem for her than it has been for him today, after all. Her face is far prettier than his.

Ree cannot stop laughing. She rolls onto her back, giggling maniacally and getting herself more covered in grass than Calvin's little handful could have hoped to. "I'm wonderful," she manages after a minute, "and so are you, and you love me very much even if you won't kiss me because you want to be lonely next year without me."

"Also, you have to promise to show up out of the blue after I become famous, just so I can give you a guided tour of my blockbuster movie set. I love showing off to people!"

The little kiss actually surprises Micah into silence for a full ten seconds, which must be some kind of record. Too bad no one is around to witness it. "It's official. I love you, Ariadne," Micah calls after her. "You'll never get rid of me after this!"

Chris seemingly appears out of nowhere right in front of Oz. he grabs Oz's face between his hands and pulls him close and slightly down so he can kiss Oz's forehead. And then, without saying anything, he walks away.

In a shocking twist, Levi is the first one awake (did he ever even go to sleep?) and he crawls up into Cecil's bunk and then on top of him for his early morning wake up call. His hair's a mess of curls and sticking up from where he went to bed with it wet, but his breath is minty fresh and he at least had the decency to put on pajama bottoms before venturing out from his Sin Den.

Perched on him like some sort of night hag, Levi grins down at him before swooping in to get right up in his face. If there are any personal boundaries left between them, Levi's forgotten all of them. "Do you remember what today is?" he whispers excitedly.

Ennis is close enough to Cole to not feel shy or awkward about a friendly peck. He catches him at breakfast and tucks his long hair behind his ear before pressing a chaste kiss to his temple. "Good luck with your exams!"

Dumbly, he lets His Senior take his hand and slowly, cautiously, nods. This feels like some kind of ... trap, somehow, and in addition to being very confused, Cash is inherently suspicious.
