Asher & Zav's Apartment Warming Party
ASHER & ZAV'S APARTMENT WARMING PARTY
It's a pleasant day in the magical corner of Brooklyn - mid-seventies, clear skies and low humidity - which is good because a couple of hapless young adults are moving into their very first apartment. They can use all the luck they can get.
The apartment's less modest than one might expect for a couple of guys not yet in their twenties. A larger-on-the-inside affair thanks to some magical tomfoolery by their wizard landlord, the living room is open and spacious, leading out to a small balcony made cozy with smart application of some cushions, plants and string lights. There's a narrow but usable kitchen and eating area, one bathroom and two (off limits, unless invited) bedrooms. Decorating is ... an ongoing process and seems to have predominantly been managed by people other than the renters, themselves. A theme of cats and pangolins is definitely emerging.
In the evening, once most things are settled and intrusive family members have been kicked out, they throw an apartment warming party, inviting their friends over for fun and food. There's music, comfy places to plop down and chat or play party games and plenty of snacks and drinks for everyone (Xavier made strawberry lemonade cupcakes, guys).

HOW THIS WORKS
- Move in happens between 9AMish and noon. Asher and Zav get their stuff in and assembled with the help of a few friends and family.
- The party starts in earnest at 6PM. Ribbonfin seniors, their significant others, and any close friends of Asher or Xavier have been invited. Xavier has ....... a lot of friends, so it's safe to assume that if you are in LARP, Casey's D&D Group, Ribbonfin Quidditch or are generally someone Zav or Asher pal around with, you probably got an invite.
- There is alcohol, and the boys were smart enough to put up some silencing charms, but please don't get them kicked out of their place, already.

Shark Party with Robin (OPEN)
And watch shark videos. Balls deep in Shark Week but also bored as fuck with what some corporate TV fuckers seem to think constitutes proper shark programming, Robin has a seemingly infinite YouTube playlist full of shark attack bullshit loaded up on his tablet, and he's plopped on a cushion halfway in some corner, intending to watch all of them. At a party. Instead of in his own bedroom at the Compound.
"Y'all got internet yet or've I gotta use my fuckin' data on this bullshit?" he calls out to the apartment at large, though he's already scrolling through the available Wi-Fi networks in the area, trying to decide who's got the easiest to crack password. At least one of these fuckers with a generic Net gear has gotta still use "guest" and he's gonna figure out which one.
