I SAY THIS ofc because I'm Potions TA this year (Yaaay!) (???) My personal goal is to get EACH ONE OF YOU a potion you realllly truly ENJOY brewing, and maybe an A in the coolest class here. Bar like, I hear maybe Charms. We can't make things sparkle but we CAN make them explode. Like. In theory. (I will not be teaching explosions!)

I'm not setting up office hours during the week, bc of the lab/classroom setup and I don't wanna encroach too much on prep of ingredients or anything else Mr. E might have planned. BUT I will be available during all level classes and on Sunday afternoons. My schedule's APPALLING LIGHT and here it is: [SCHEDULE POSTED HERE]

You can ALWAYS ALWAYS ward me for a study session! Pleaaase don't hesitate to come to me with any questions. Potions related or like, otherwise, I guess, if you want really poor advice over like, chopped bulbs of some kind. Let me know how I can help ♥

Ooooh yes, I've been playing with drying techniques too. It's so cool bc some herbs are actually BETTER in potions when you do it the old fashioned no magicky way BUT there's some freshness preserving stuff I wanna show you.

Better it is blue. Make it purple or green, and people will be discouraged.

No, it's all right. There are always lots of Azurcrests and we may as well celebrate that reputation I guess.
No offense to your house but purple is ACTUALLY one of the colors mostly likely to be thought of as poison soooo you're probably right. (It's still not as bad as black potion! Blue isn't far behind them in undesirability! I did too much marketing research this summer!)

What is a more desirable colour then?

Yeaaah you know, I've never understood that one.

Red's supposed to be VERY inviting! (Did those red slushies get junior'ed first?? I wonder if this is true.) And green reminds people of Health which actually is useful in potions bc they tend to have So Many Herbs. But you have to make it look pretty, not sludgey, because no one likes drinking mud either. Imagine.

But too bright a green and it also looks like venom. A tricky colour.

Ohhhh well in THAT case. I don't understand a LOT of things and I hope that bear has kept its promise every day.

Sneaky fish, at it again. But yeah VERY FEW/NO drinkable potions are that color (even if they ARE poison!) bc wow, too obvious.

So blue is not the worst option, yes? The only danger is someone mixes it up with a blue slushie and goes unprotected from kissing.

I deeply DEEEPLY hope anyone I teach this to keeps it blue next year. This has to be a Legacy.
It SHOULD last liiike a month? But if it doesn't work it won't hurt you. It just y'know, won't work. But I'm v glad you didn't need it!

An explosion that creates sparkles is my life's goal or at least sr prank goal. Def achievable.

I'm willing to stick with blue if you're willing to teach me. I'm taking Pre-Healer this year and I'm fairly certain the healer would approve of me adding this potion to my repertoire. He may only show it on the inside though.

And good to know. Maybe I'll find a use for it before then. Just do it doesn't go to waste.

If you manage to get a workable explosion, let me know. Event Committee can always use things to up the wow factor.
