A squishy something is pelted at Hero's head when he leaves his cabin Wednesday morning. It's a note, slipped inside a leather case, wrapped in a scarf, smothered in an enigma.

The note is inside a case made for Lenormand cards. The case is (magically!) watertight, rip-proof, and (allegedly!) jinx-proof; its tie responds to locking and security charms. The case is wrapped in a deep red scarf that should probably go with Hero's eyes or something.
