I ended up finding more spiders than I expected in my hunt for our cabin, so if anyone needs wants some, just let me know. There are quite a few [...] black and yellow garden spiders, banded garden spiders, goldenrod crab spiders, and bold jumper spiders. The goldenrod crab and bold jumpers are fairly small. If you care about that.

They're not too hard, no. The black and yellow garden spiders are really mild so probably the easiest to handle, and they can just eat whatever they catch in their webs.

I'll defer to the majority for an overall decision on this, but let's say: confined after curfew and when you aren't around, just so no one winds up accidentally swallowing one if they decide to take a nap.

I am not afraid of spiders but as a precaution to your collection neither is Madoc. He is much more predatory here on campus than he is at home.

I'm not super worried about it - most should be high enough to be out of harm's way, but if some get eaten that's just life.

Either way, if you want to relocate a few it's probably a chill place to be an arachnid.

I agree with Nia! I don't think it should be a problem if they're confined when we sleep or you're not there. Maleficent likes to hunt and destroy things so I'll try to keep her away too though it sounds like you have a plan for that.
