So, unsurprisingly, boating club might not be for me. What are the reviews on drama club? I might be able to help out painting sets or with costumes.

Speaking of which, if anyone needs help with their Halloween costumes, just let me know. I have mine done already.

I have an idea that I might need your help with, but first I have a question. Do you think the underclassmen would hate me if I made them learn math to get their candy at the Halloween dance?

The sets and costumes for A Midsummer Night's Dream were amazing.

Obviously you won't know what the sets are going to be until you know the play, but I bet I could help out! I'm really good at [...] building stuff and painting things to look like other things. And some charms!

Not really. I haven't given it much thought. [...] But I'll figure something out.

I think that largely depends on how much math they're going to have to do first.

[Monster Mash Ward]
Not that much! Do you know the Monty Hall problem?

[Monster Mash Ward]
No? What's that?

[Monster Mash Ward]
So there's this nomaj gameshow called "Let's Make a Deal", and they have this game where there are three closed doors. And they tell the contestant, behind one of the doors is a brand new car, and behind the other one are goats. Obviously you want to get the car. So they have you pick one door, and after you do, the host opens one of the remaining two doors to show you that there's a goat behind it. Then he asks you if you want to switch doors.
The question is: should you switch? Should you stay with your original choice? Or does it not matter?

[Monster Mash Ward]
Oh. It's a logic problem.
Like the cupsI wasn't very good aSo there's a chance you were right the whole time and you switch to get it wrong, there's a chance you were wrong and you switch to get it right, and there's the chance of sticking with whatever you had and that being right or wrong. So it's a chance game and a math game. I don't think you'll frustrate the underclassmen too much with that.
