So, unsurprisingly, boating club might not be for me. What are the reviews on drama club? I might be able to help out painting sets or with costumes.

Speaking of which, if anyone needs help with their Halloween costumes, just let me know. I have mine done already.

I have an idea that I might need your help with, but first I have a question. Do you think the underclassmen would hate me if I made them learn math to get their candy at the Halloween dance?

So there's this nomaj gameshow called "Let's Make a Deal", and they have this game where there are three closed doors. And they tell the contestant, behind one of the doors is a brand new car, and behind the other one are goats. Obviously you want to get the car. So they have you pick one door, and after you do, the host opens one of the remaining two doors to show you that there's a goat behind it. Then he asks you if you want to switch doors.
The question is: should you switch? Should you stay with your original choice? Or does it not matter?

Oh. It's a logic problem.
Like the cupsI wasn't very good aSo there's a chance you were right the whole time and you switch to get it wrong, there's a chance you were wrong and you switch to get it right, and there's the chance of sticking with whatever you had and that being right or wrong. So it's a chance game and a math game. I don't think you'll frustrate the underclassmen too much with that.

Exactly. Your odds are actually a little better if you switch doors, which is where the math comes in. It's a little counter-intuitive, because you'd think your odds would be about the same either way. I just think it's interesting. But you could still play without doing the math.
Also, since it's Halloween, I was thinking "something spooky" instead of "a goat", which is where you guys would come in.

The math is where you lose me a bit, but I follow for the most part. It's like a Midway game. Probably less fixed than a Midway game, though.
I'd like to think that I'm at least more frightening than a goat.

Carnival games are fixed?!
I'm going to be Dr. Frankenstein if you want to be my monster.

Tragic, but true. We are liars and thieves.
Yes. Definitely. I've always wanted to be stitched together from a bunch of other girls.

I really thought I could knock the cans over if I just tried hard enough.
Excellent. Maybe Zach can be Dracula.

Well, if the person running the stall likes you, they'll give you a fair chance.
I think he'd make a fine vampire. Or a mummy.

Why are so many HORROR STORIES told with the epistolary format? Is LETTER WRITING really that scary?

[...] Did you hear any of my stories at the pumpkin carving contest? Cole recruited me to write some SCARES. He said they were good, but I'm STARTING to REGRET writing a WHOLE conte cruel where the antagonist was the act of forgetting to vote.
[ .......... ] The one about the GIANT SPIDER was pretty okay though. I think.
