I like to keep my emotions at a nice, low volume. As it turns out, that's not conducive to casting a patronus. And [...] it's not a deal killer to have a little sadness mixed in there. One of my memories that usually does the trick is about my grandfather. Another is about a friend of mine who's been having a rough time lately. Franksly, they're both loaded as hell, but in the end it doesn't matter that much. I was still happy.

I don't think that's my problem. [...] The memories are happy enough. I struggle with focusing. Every little thing is That's the sort of thing Jade's been learning in Occlumency. Meditating and clearing your mind. She makes it sound so easy.
