Of course fish puns are basically an automatic win where Kurt is concerned. Despite being alone in his cabin and reading a piece of paper, he might still blush. He pulls out his own paper and cuts it into a whale shape, writes his response, and slips it (in a similarly unexciting envelope, labeled PIPPA) under the door of the sophomore girls' cabin.

When Pippa finds and opens Kurt's reply, she has to grab her pillow and bury her face in it to smother her screams of excitement and PURE JOY. Look at all those exclamation marks! WHAT A GOOD SIGN.

And then she dances around her cabin, regardless of who else is there. SHE HAS A DATE SHE HAS A DATE!!!
