Good morning all! As you may have heard, there was some strangeness in the woods between Ribbonfin and Ebonhide last night. While we don't have any the details right now, I think it's safe to say that this is the sort of thing that prompts curiosity from the student body. So, preemptively, let's all be vigilant and watch out for people who might want to do their own investigating. Safety is our top priority!

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to get with Ferdie and I. We'll help to the best of our abilities.

Just so we're all in the loop, a student who was out last night saw what they believe was a large, antlered figure, on the ground, surrounded by MACUSA agents. We don't know what was happening beyond that. I want you all to be aware, in case someone reports having seen something similar and this information gets out to the greater student body. But I think it's easy to draw certain conclusions about what was going on and that's [...] easy to panic over.

At the moment, I don't think so. Best not to draw particular attention to it until we have more information. I'm willing to bet that the woods will be wall-to-wall MACUSA agents for a while, so hopefully we won't need to do too much discouraging.

A bunch of students left the trails to investigate. The MACUSA agents turned us all away before I really saw anything, but it's possible someone else did.

How hard is "stay on the trails" to follow, as advice goes?

Hmm, yeah. Here's hoping no one else saws anything, but in the meantime, I guess keep an ear to the ground for murmurings about people seeing a fight between the robes and the forest creatures.

Hopefully pretty easy, but I think it depends on the class.
