What would be I'm not noble, just trying to think about someone else's feelings. He's not simply waiting around for someone to come and throw themselves at his feet which I'm sure has happened. He is capable of deciding if he likes someone.

I'd rather you not tell him. I have a feeling he'll hear about it anyway, but if there's a chance, [...] I'll take the anonymity. I don't need to advertise that I was going to bat for someone. Besides, what if the people running it were his friends? I'm probably already in deep for that one, telling off his buddies.

Don't you worry about that. Everybody knows Casper's friends are assholes, and, well. I don't believe he's laboring under sort of delusion to the contrary.
