I have mixed feelings about my parents missing out on parent-teacher stuff. Like phew glad they aren't here but also at the same time I'd be cool with them here. Though I did just see them over Christmas so I am sure the novelty would wear off extra fast.

Seems like most people would rather avoid their parents if they can help it. I suppose that might've figured into attending boarding school.

True. Unless you're being shipped away it probably factors in a little bit.

I miss the debate dinner table but I wouldn't get that if they came to parent-teacher meetings.

At least that means they know how to behave themselves in public. I've got a feeling many of our classmates are about to be publicly mortified.

That is lucky. Mine's too busy with school.

But Parental annoyance isn't the same when they aren't yours.

Oh trust me, my parents annoyance exceeds the boundaries and limitations of direct DNA relationships.

I am not opposed to meeting your parents. Though you aren't really selling me on them with this annoyance knows no bounds.

I mean, it's actually kind of funny if you're expecting it, so you'll be thoroughly entertained? But they'd love to meet you. ~~They've never met my friends~~
