DRAMA AUDITIONS: A Midsummer Night's Dream

DRAMA AUDITIONS
Every year at Gooseberry, a performance is held right before winter break. This year, the Drama Club will be putting on Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Inspired by the Halloween Dance, Mrs. Acuña and Ms. Thrussell explain that their plan is to use a Victorian costuming and setting theme, which they hope to be quite ambitious.

AUDIENCE

Despite what the popcorn may imply she's actually way into supporting her little fledgling actors. She'll clap after each audition, clap enthusiastically after each Azurcrest's audition, and WHOOP for the ones she finds particularly entertaining. Every reaction is good-natured but she promises to shut up if Acuña or Thrussell tell her that's quite enough.

She will then teasingly offer to teach Quinn a ridiculously exaggerated golf clap.

She proceeds to provide her reviews through the ancient form of the golf clap.

Because he hasn't gone yet, and he wants to be rated too.
Quinn's new scoring system.
With the biggest markers she has, she writes "10" on one journal page and a "10" with a little :) inside the 0 on the other. Whenever the staff's backs are to the audience at the end of an audition, Quinn ecstatically displays the former for non-Azurcrest students, and the latter for Azurcrests. Every score is provided with an equally-enthusiastic thumbs-up an a genuine go get 'em tiger kind of grin.
Cricket (aka the best big sister in the world)
She sits off to the side nearish to the front and reads between performances, but is polite and attentive when people are auditioning (even if she does tend to have a glazed over look to her eyes). She claps when appropriate and gives Clarence a standing ovation. She stays until after her brother and close friends have performed, then slips out.
