There's no note, but there's a handful of wallet-sized pictures of Rex and the Quayle family and, like, whatever else Ulysses had in his wallet. There's no sign of the wallet.
What the hell? Family pictures? Who would put something like that under his door? And why? Ulysses isn't sure what this is supposed to mean, but let me tell you — nothing he's imagining is any good.
