Okay. I like birds, but that was just unfuckingsettling. It's neither December, nor a midnight dreary, so like, ravens have no right to be going out of their way to be creeptastic. It's not even Halloween yet!

Basically I broke up a massive unkindness this morning and the birds, they were not pleased about it.

Tonight after dinner we have Duelling and Fencing club! I have been looking forward to duelling again for the entire summer hols. Watching Daddy practice his jinxes and cursework without being able to cast any myself back home is most tiresome. Waiting until December until I'm old enough seems like a lifetime away.

It is a most thrilling activity, and even if you are hesitant about fencing or duelling, I highly recommend you join us all just to try it! I'm sure you will come to love it. And Ms. Lilywhite is a brilliant sponsor and duelist, as well.

For anyone who was concerned, LARP Club is officially returning for its fourth year with a new teacher sponsor, Mr. Elmasry! We won't have a meeting until next weekend, on account of Quidditch and Cheer tryouts, but that just gives you all time to work on your character sheets.

If you've ever been interested in Live Action Role-Playing, there's no better time than now to join. I promise it's easier to pick up than D&D. (But if you are looking for D&D, I know there's a dedicated group in Gaming Club who's always happy to welcome new members!)
