WARDED TO ROXIE:
Hey, so

If you're not busy this weekend No, that's

Have you ever thought about joining LARP? It's cooler than it sounds

Do you have any interest in watching me pretend to be a four and a half foot tall Scottish man with a magic battle axe?
uponawire: (you may render me a wreck)

That's a very specific question.
uponawire: (arrives with a length of lights)

[personal profile] uponawire 2017-04-06 08:21 am (UTC)(link)
It might not be relevant, but I was wondering how the battle axe was magical.
uponawire: (my bombazine doll)

[personal profile] uponawire 2017-04-06 08:29 am (UTC)(link)
Is that a problem you have often?
uponawire: (if i'll ever be back again)

[personal profile] uponawire 2017-04-06 08:40 am (UTC)(link)
Huh.

And they tell our parents this school is safe.
uponawire: (find a way to your hideaway)

That isn't a no, before you worry.

I would, in fact, be very interested in seeing you be a four-and-a-half foot tall anything.
uponawire: (high above the ground)

Despite spending a disproportionate amount of my time outside of school wearing costumes, I have no idea how LARP works. Do I have to know how it works?
uponawire: (it never really bothers me)

I suddenly feel very justified in my years of pouting when my sister refused to let me play with her swords. That would have been useful now. But - please?

I could teach you something back?
uponawire: (a candle to carry us)

[personal profile] uponawire 2017-04-06 10:53 pm (UTC)(link)
That's fair. Heights aren't for everyone. What are your feelings on knives? Or the relative morality of pick-pocketing when half of the game is putting everything back where you got it from?

I know you'd like what my Opa does, but I'm terrible at it.
uponawire: (a sliver to call mine)

[personal profile] uponawire 2017-04-06 11:21 pm (UTC)(link)
If it helps, most of them aren't sharpened.

Nobody here! I'll have you know I'm a very well behaved member of the student body who obeys the majority of school rules. It's [...] a really stupid game we used to play with my cousins. And the object wasn't to steal anything - sometimes we'd just put things in people's pockets, honestly. The object was not to get caught?
uponawire: (weird how it wonderful grows)

[personal profile] uponawire 2017-04-07 12:48 am (UTC)(link)
Depends on how hard you're throwing it. But, essentially? They're charmed not to hit anyone.

Jon always just flirted with every pretty girl, stole all their pocket-change and hair ties from their purses, and put it back into one of their friends bags. Little to no subtlety involved.

Is that a thief, then?
uponawire: (ran through brambles)

The flirting or the petty crime?

Stealing things and stabbing people. My father would be appalled. Am I supposed to be motivated by something or am I just a terrible person?
