On Thursday the 1st, Jade, Essie, Solomon and I went to a party at the Sorting Cave with a handful of our friends. It was a birthday party for Jade and she didn't invite you. We all got too drunk to sneak back into our cabins and slept at Ribbonfin that night.

On Saturday the 3rd, Calvin, Jade and I tried to lure a Hogwarts student into the woods to scare her at a fake seance. We couldn't convince her, and went out into the woods anyway. That was when we spoke to the thing that called itself Henry and saw the headless corpse. Solomon wasn't there.

Even if they already know the adults know?

I don't see five people who would get us kicked out of Gooseberry in the last two weeks of school because we thought sharing what we know with them was a good idea.

It's nice that you think that highly of people, but you're wrong.

Or maybe you just think that negatively.

Do you think Regan would be particularly pleased to learn that her roommates had done this against her will and then lied to her about it? Do you think Quinn Cunningham and Rafael Ramirez would hear this story and think "no harm, no foul"?

Displeased enough to want us all expelled? Because we already learned our lesson. I don't think any of us are going back in there after that.

Calvin, Jade and I will tell the students. You keep your mouth shut.

You can say we told all of you before we told the MACUSA agents.

Why does it matter? You want people to know, we're going to let them know. And this way, we can still protect our friends. Everyone wins.

Because we discuss everything. We obsessively, analytically discuss every thing. It is what we do, it is how we operate as a class. Of course it matters.

When you're done throwing your selfish fit, you can rejoin us here in reality.

It wouldn't even be a problem if you didn't take matters into your own hands for the rest of us without consulting us.

What do you want?

I want to stop being treated like an idiot and go back to how we were before. When we discussed things as a group.

I kept the first seance a secret. I never said a word to anyone, even though I thought we should. Because as a group we decided that.

You guys took this into your own hands and decided for us what should be done, and are backing us into a corner with it. I can't talk to you guys. I don't trust you guys, I want to talk to my actual friends about it because I'm scared just like all of us are.

And I think it's important we share the information with people who know more than we do.

I'm glad you told the teachers what happened, what we saw in the woods. But they don't tell the students anything other than "guys don't go out there" which, just like we took for granted, doesn't mean anything to them. Maybe Tess wouldn't have gone out that far if we had shared with some of the seniors what we saw.

Here's what I want: I want my friends to not get in trouble if they don't have to. I want Essie to be able to take her advanced courses and play Quidditch. I don't want Zach to lose his prefect's badge. Even if we weren't to be expelled, those are all very real possibilities if the truth of what happened gets out. We did make a decision on behalf of the group, but we did it then and we're doing it again now because the rest of you, as a whole, are clearly incapable of keeping a story straight.

We've told the students now, as you wanted. We'll give them all the information we have.

Beyond that we can't stop you from telling whoever you like about what happened, but I want you to really think about the consequences first.

I literally just told you I wanted us to discuss as a group. I get that you guys put yourselves in a bad position by telling the teachers about what happened. I just wish we had decided that as a group. The three of you shouldn't have had to feel like you HAD to take the blame for the rest of us. I have no interest in undermining your cover story.

All I wanted was to tell the other students so they knew what we were dealing with.

We've told everyone what happened. We've given you leave to tell whoever you like, knowing the consequences. And we did all this because you were hysterical, not because we discussed it as a group. This is a decision you made on your own, Isabelle.

You still made the decision to make that post on your own before everyone was here and able to discuss it. I'm upset, Ari, I'm fucking scared. Sorry I haven't had your awesome best friends to talk about what happened with and the only people I do have to talk with I'm not supposed to tell.

If everyone agreed we should continue to keep the other students in the dark, I would have sucked it up like I did last time. But I'm not the only one who thought other students should know.

I think we all need to remain calm and stop undermining and dismissing how everybody feels.
