FRIDAY THE 13TH
It's getting colder up in the mountains, and winter always seems to reach Utah quicker than it ought to. Still, it's a day of note. It's Friday the 13th! And it's in October! Some cabins and classrooms are already decorated for the holiday.
It's easy to blame a bit of bad luck on the date. [Character A] has a bird poop on their head as they're walking to class. Meanwhile, Jefferson Key's water bottle unexpectedly shatters on the hardwood floor of a hallway, causing Ira Ashworth to slip in the puddle and hit their head.
Ariadne Flint didn't plan for the rain that came in suddenly, and wore inappropriate shoes. They end up with cold, wet feet. [Prefect/Captain Character E] had a stressful day, and tries to slip off to the sauna three times... but it's always occupied. [Character F] manages to lose their homework that was due to day, and [Strict Teacher] doesn't believe them. They can turn it in late, but at -10%.
As the sun is going down, Mackenzie Prince sees a friend on the rainy trail ahead of them. They call out to Ulysses Quayle, but the friend suddenly picks up speed and runs straight into the woods. When Kenzie runs after them to see what's wrong, there's no trace of Ulysses anywhere...
» THE LODGE: It's overcrowded with students escaping the unpleasant weather.
» OUTSIDE: A cold autumn rain sweeps through campus just past 3:00, turning the trails to mud and making mulch of the fallen leaves.
» CAMPGROUNDS: Some students just go back to their cabins to light a fire and wait out the rain.

HOW THIS WORKS
- This is a freeform IC/OOC with no particular goal or activity. Scenes may take place whenever and wherever you want them to.
- It's Friday the 13th, so maybe your character feels like they're having a bit of bad luck, or perhaps it's a perfectly normal day.
- For reference, the clubs taking place today are Gardening (which will get rained out at about 3:15 just as they get started) and Crafting (which will tragically run out of glitter).
