Maman wants to know if you're staying with us for Christmas break.

I personally thinks she needs to know how much milk she needs to bribe the lutins with to put up with you, but she says it's because it's nice having another feminine presence in the house. Whatever that means.

I think that means she misses you or something but God knows WHY. Booger-like behavior is contagious.

I have to check with my parents. I think they'll be fine but I have to be home for Christmas Eve and at least half of Christmas day. Otherwise I'm all yours!

Well YEAH you still have that whole "not my mom" politeness thing where you tolerate sitting through her "WHEN I WAS A DEBUTANTE..." stories without interrupting with the ending.

I think Papa also wants to show you some new Muggle Christmas village thing he's working on? He said something about doing a scale model of the MARTA track around the village, but I told him demon summoning circles wouldn't really fit in with Maman's theme for Christmas and he got pissed at me.

I don't mind your mama's stories. But yeah I don't have to hear them 24/7 either!

You know we gotta stop by my parents as well, they miss you. Apparently ALL my siblings are coming to dinner this year.

And yes generally I am 100% in support of my father's models but when he's recreating the demon circle of I-285, a guy has to draw the line or else this Christmas will be like...a holiday slasher movie? And then Maman will kill us all for ruining her dinner party and everything will get R rated for gore.

And of course your parents miss me, I'M THEIR COOLEST CHILD. Tell me--does Daniel still have his impossible, ill-fated crush on me? I must know.

Okay but on the real, the Gascoigne-Thibodeau men have Learnt™ that Every Holiday is Maman's Holiday and if she's happy, we can continue our existence free of suffering (mostly).
