Hi guys! I know at this time of year we're all ❤️lookin' for love❤️, and I hate to be the Valentine's Grinch, but please be mindful of any notes you receive. If your Valentine is asking you to meet them somewhere isolated, alone, or if what they're saying seems out of character for them, or if something just seems weird it may be best to ignore it! Consider talking to your prefect about it.

And, hey, on the flip side, if you're planning on clowning on someone this February? Don't toy with people's hearts.

The Gooseberry Tradition of sending fake love letters endures another year, but asking two random people to meet each other in an isolated place is for sure breakin' them Buddy System rules. So, keep an eye on your cabins, everyone. If someone's got hearts in their eyes suddenly, just make sure they're still taking proper precautions.

And if any of you know who might be penning the fake notes, I'd appreciate a tip.

This isn't on you to fix, necessarily, but if you want to help them, I suggest going to them individually and seeing if either one is up for talking with you about how they're feeling.

I'll try. But they're both private in their own ways.

If neither is up for opening up completely, you might be able to nudge them toward talking to each other. Then they don't have to go through it twice. Like if you asked Ruby about cheer practice and got her thinking about it, or something that might make them break the ice a little with each other.
