And it was really cold out. You could've died.

Potentially. There are, however, stories of people who have frozen to death, literally frozen solid, and somehow survived being thawed. There's even one story of a woman who suffered no permanent damage after being thawed. She didn't even have frostbite.

Feeling like you froze to death is good. Shivering is good too. When you go numb, or stop shivering in the cold, that's when you should be concerned. And a lack of awareness is also a symptom. But you're okay now? Do you remember anything? It's okay if you don't. That'd also be a symptom
