At breakfast, each member of the Ebonhide quidditch team, first string and reserve, receives a bright orange envelope from a generic post owl. But these are no ordinary letters. No - these are howlers. The envelopes rattle and unfold in unison and begin screeching a delightfully loud mashup of the Space Jam song and What Does The Fox Say, playing the song to completion or until the envelope is destroyed.

Nisha Lewis doesn't even seem to notice the hubbub. She's looking exceedingly pleased with her meal this morning, chowing down with a pair of headphones on.

Good luck at the game today, everyone.

Casper doesn't always have breakfast with his teammates but he sometimes does on game days. Like today. Lucky him. If it had just been the howlers, that wouldn't have given him more than mild jolt of annoyed surprise. Getting a glass of orange juice dumped on him, though, is something else and he's on his feet in an instant, features set in a startled, angry, slightly disgusted expression. He snatches both his howler and Archie's out of the air, ripping them in half before the song can progress much farther, and turns to glare daggers at the first group of Coppertales he can find.

Is he allowed to take points for this? Because he absolutely wants to take points for this.

Honestly, Archie doesn't mind the little surprise or the funny song. However, when he sees he dumped his drink all over Casper, he feels a moment of terror... until he realizes Casper's not mad at him, but at Coppertale. That's fine.

He feebly offers Casper his napkin. If he looks meek, maybe he'll stay off Casper's rage radar.

Currently predisposed to be angry at Coppertale, Archie isn't even a blip on Casper's rage radar. Still scowling as he turns back, Casper takes the napkin and tries to use it to dry off his hands and the front of his shirt and his jeans but it's just not up for the task. He drops the soaked napkin onto his tray with an irritated sigh and a few muttered expletives. There's probably nothing to do but get out of here and go change.
