Well, whatever the outcome, those auditions were pretty damn fun! I freaking love a musical. There are some damn good singers in this school, and I bet the seniors are going to absolutely rock it!

I'm so glad we've got Into The Woods for the musical this year. It's such a fun story, and I feel like no matter who gets what part they'll have a great time performing it, which means it's going to be even more fun for the people watching.

And on another personal front, I signed up to live in one of the city dorms next year. All the students on the magical study course opted to, so they're going to spread us out so we're in the same part of the building, but we're likely to have No-Maj roommates and neighbours. That's going to be pretty different an experience for most of the students, I think, but I'm looking forward to something different!

So, haven't used my journal in a few days because of being busy with the whole Squonk thing. Trying to research, note patterns of behaviour and whatnot. Guess what? None of it helps. It really doesn't believe that you're genuinely trying to help and look after it, which is hard when you actually are and don't know how to convince it. They're too smart and I'm not enough of a sociopath to lie convincingly to it, and if we did try, I feel like it'd have an even worse tantrum.

This is one hell of a challenge!
