Today is the final day to submit nominations for prom court. Staff will then deliberate and voting should open shortly after.

We're still tallying the results of the first round of Let's Steal Prom! I hope everyone enjoyed themselves and that they'll attend the next round in two weeks. If you have any feedback on the competition, please don't hesitate to speak with me.

Finally, we're roughly a month out from prom, which means promposal season is starting. Don't disappoint, Gooseberry.

Now that everyone's had a sampling of what a Casino Caper themed prom could entail, I'd like to once again return to the topic of dance themes. JD has suggested the 1920s as a possibility and I think we could easily weave a decades theme in with another theme, or present it as a standalone theme. We also have an extensive list of options submitted by Jade and Lucas.

Additionally, while you haven't gotten rid of me yet, I'd like to offer any of next year's presidential hopefuls a chance to impress Mr. Hightower and put together their "dream event" with the backing of Event Committee's resources in the next couple months leading up to graduation. Speak with me if you're interested.

I realize we all lose our heads a little during prom season and a certain level of playful antagonism is expected among participants. That said, blatant bullying is entirely unacceptable and I'll be removing any posters that I deem inappropriate. If, for some reason, a poster that you've made about yourself is removed, then you can come speak with me about having it returned.

If you've somehow missed the flyers, prom season is officially upon us and nominations for prom court are now open. We're also introducing a new competition series to nab a pair of crowns in a more unorthodox manner, but still very much in the spirit of Gooseberry. You can find more information for both posted in the lodge, but I'm always available for questions as well.

Additionally, a belated thank you to everyone who came out for Muddy Twister. I hope to hear we've begun a new Gooseberry tradition next year.

And we're off. We've got two months left to make this dance happen. I've some ideas for potentially expanding on the heist idea for full blown prom, but now's the time to start putting forth any serious ideas for discussion and consideration. If there's any other topics you'd like to discuss, please don't hesitate to bring them up.
